On Monday we talked about One Sin. “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 - It means you don’t have to earn God’s love.  He already loves you, and there is absolutely nothing you could do that would change His love.

On Tuesday our lesson was about The Faith of the Mustard Seed. "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ He said to them, ‘Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.’" Matthew 17:19-20 - We don't need a lot of faith - just as much as a mustard seed - to provoke great results - because our God is an awesome God!

On Wednesday our lesson was about A Gift From God.“To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability.” Matthew 25:15 - God gave all of us talents, but they aren’t all the same. Each one of us has different talents and different ways to use them. And even though they are different, they aren’t better or worse than each other. God just wants to see us use them instead of hiding them. That’s why He gave them to us! He wants us to use those talents to bring more people to him and to grow His kingdom.

On Thursday we found out Everything is Possible with God. “God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.” Psalms 62:7 - To call God the Rock is to say that he is strong and stable and trustworthy.

On Friday we learned that even little people can do big things. “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 - David was only a boy and a shepherd. He was so small compared to Goliath. He looked at Goliath and probably got a little scared. But, David had one thing that Goliath didn’t. He had God on his side. When we have God on our side, we can face any giant.

Thank You!

Thank you to all of our VBS volunteers for taking the time to help this week. The kids sure had a BLAST learning through science-inspired Christ-focused bible lessons. On Friday, we ended our VBS with a wonderful closing program where the kids were able to show their friends and family what they learned over the week.
